Thomas Schwarz

Thomas Schwarz is a writer of fantasy and literary fiction, drawing inspiration from the expansive worlds of Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time and Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere. His stories are also influenced by the timeless wisdom of ancient philosophical texts like the Tao Te Ching and Plato’s Republic, which infuse his stories with questions of morality, purpose, and the human condition. Drawing from the introspective beauty of Natsume Soseki, the surreal dreamscapes of Haruki Murakami, and the incisive social critique of George Orwell, Thomas crafts narratives that explore the complexities of identity, the boundaries of reality, and the eternal search for meaning in an often chaotic world. When not writing, he can be found traveling to new places, finding solace in nature, or losing himself in the pages of classic and contemporary literature. Thomas lives in Edmonton, Alberta, with his girlfriend Erykca and their two mischievous black cats, Cairo and Cleo, who often supervise his writing sessions between naps.
